We will only select and present candidates that we truly believe are suitable for the position. Our matching process is based on 3 main criteria: your experience, your qualifications, and your personality.
We are the only English speaking agency with offices actually based in central Milan. This is one of our greatest assets, as we personally meet most of our clients and can guarantee our nannies on-site back-up service.
Europlacements does not charge its candidates any fees for the service provided.
The Registration Process
STEP 1 – APPLICATION
Send your full and detailed CV, a Brief description of yourself and recent photo directly to EuroPlacements via email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Once we have assessed your experience for the positions you are seeking, we will send you our application form to fill in and we will ask you a presentation letter and a photo.
This process varies from candidate to candidate, but the more organised you are in submitting your details, the quicker the process.
STEP 2 – AGENCY INTERVIEW
In order to complete our registration process a preliminary Skype or telephone interview is required.
It is preferred that we meet you personally in our Milan office, but we will discuss our interview possibilities with you.
STEP 3 – CHECKING YOUR REFERENCES
Following the registration interview we will then check your references. Once these are successfully completed we will then be able to put you forward for those positions that we have mutually agreed are appropriate.
You are not fully registered until you have interviewed with us and your references and background have been checked.
STEP 4 –PREPARING FOR THE FAMILIES
We will then forward your CV to families that require someone with your profile. If we get a positive response we will then contact you directly with the details of the positions. This will usually be an application form filled out by the family or a brief description taken from our job list.
It is extremely important to have all the details of the position (eg family name, number and ages of children, duties required, salary offered, location, references of prior nannies, languages spoken by the family, etc) before setting up the interview so that you can prepare questions to ask the family.
If you are not in Italy, first we will organise a Skype or telephone interview with the family. Then, depend on where you are, we try to organise a second interview in person. If you are in Italy you usually directly proceed to a personal interview.
STEP 5 – CONFIRMATION OF PLACEMENT
Once you have been successful and a position has been offered, we will always be on hand for post placement advice.
If all goes well both you and the family will feel positive about the interview and we will then proceed to drawing up an Agreement that will outline the main points of the position the family offers. Once this is signed by the family we will forward it to you to countersign (please read it over carefully and only countersign it if it is acceptable to you and reflects what you have been discussing with the family).
This agreement is not a working contract. It is intended to make sure both parties are in agreement as to the general conditions of employment.
If after the family interview you do not feel confident we have found you the right position please let us know what is motivating your decision so we can try to make a better match the next time round.
STEP 6 – UPON YOUR ARRIVAL
When you arrive to your final destination you will receive the Europlacements Welcome Package that contains a lot of useful information and a list of people that are closest to you.
We will also be calling you to say “BENVENUTA” (WELCOME) the day after you arrive and from there we will be a presence throughout your stay to which you can refer to for everyday problems, general inquiries, and even just a chat!
