OUR SERVICES

Europlacements is a recruitment agency for English Mother Tongue child carers. We are mostly known for our Australian staff, but we recruit locally in Italy and Europe too, wherever we can guarantee face to face interviews with our candidates.

Our services are linked to various professional profiles:

THE SEARCH

Our service begins by listening carefully to your needs and motivations in wanting an English speaking child carer. The solutions we offer are not necessarily the right ones for everyone. It is therefore very important to make sure we are the right Agency for what you are looking for!

Typically our Client firmly believes English is an irrenouncible part of their children’s upbringing for them to become a global citizen.

When possible we encourage potential clients to come to the Agency to register. This allows both the family and the Agency the opportunity to meet and talk in depth about the children and your needs; knowing a lot more than what is conveyed through the registration forms in writing helps us do a better job for you.

Once we will have received your full registration documentation we will proceed to send you CVs of potential candidates.

We will generally introduce you to potential candidates in one of two ways:

  • If a candidate is not already in Milan, Euro-Placements will send you extremely complete Candidate Profile including a registration form, a CV, a letter of presentation, references, our interview report, a medical certificate, photos, diplomas etc. If you are interested in the candidate, we will then inform them of the details of the position you are offering. If the interest is reciprocal, we will then suggest that you email each other personally, and then proceed to a telephone interview.
  • If the candidate is in Italy or Europe and you are interested in meeting the candidate after the initial email/telephone contact, we can arrange personal interviews. If candidates need to travel outside of their city to meet you, all costs involved are to be paid by the client (train/plane ticket, hotels, etc.).

If the family then wants to offer the candidate the position we will assist you in drawing up a detailed agreement/job description to be undersigned. This is not a contract but merely a summary of conditions offered to make sure there is no misunderstanding due to language.

HOW WE RECRUIT

After 15 years in the recruiting field Europlacements is considered a reference point by many professionals. Our website brings us many candidates as does the publicity we do abroad.

At least twice a year we go to Australia to interview in all the major cities and often go to London to interview candidates we think may be interesting for the Agency and our Clients.

Alternatively we have candidates come to Milan or Rome to interview with us once our screening process is completed. This is done before a candidate starts interviewing with families.

Like all recruiters we collect full documentation regarding candidates and carefully counter check all information; however we can always guarantee a personal interview and in case of an exception inform the Client.

This very “personal” way of recruiting means the time frame for a search is quite variable. In human resources in general it is always hard to predict when we will find the right candidate for the right position!

It is therefore extremely important to start the search as early as possible and to be able to have a certain degree of flexibility to ensure we find you the best possible candidates!
