English mother tongue Nanny for immediate start is  required  for an Italian family living near Assisi (Umbria close to Tuscany), famous for St. Francis. Close to Rome, by train in 1 hour and Florence, 2 hours

The family has 2 boys, 9 and 7 years old. English level: both children are beginners.

The father is an Entrepreneur and is President of two charitable Foundations)

The mother works as Director in Bilingual Montessori Primary  school.

The family’s aim in hiring a mother tongue English speaking nanny is to teach and assist the children with learning  English, because in 2 years’ time they will be going to an international school.

Therefore candidates are to speak to the children in English at all times, keeping them active as age appropriate with creative and pro-active play, correcting their pronunciation, teaching them new vocabulary  and generally working towards their fluency.

They are looking for someone motivated and with experience, passionate and talent in teaching English in a fun way (playing games, doing creative activities, reading books), can swim

They are looking for an active person with a higher education (diploma, etc)

The candidate should be active, flexible, independent. You will not required  to do the nursery duties

The nanny has maybe to drive (manual) to pick up children from the school and taking to the afternoon activities. The children attend school every day from 8.30 until 13.00

Candidate must be driver (manual)

Working hours are:

Monday to Friday:  from 2 pm to  8pm,  including lunch and dinner with the family, from 2pm to 3pm and from 7pm to 8pm respectively. The nanny is welcome to eat with the family

Saturday: from 10am to 1pm and from 2pm to 3pm (lunch with the family)

2 week ends/month

Evening babysitting is up to twice/week

You will be offered a bedroom with own bathroom. The bedroom is in a private area of the large country house

Internet access in the house.

The family travel often in Italy for work events.

The nanny will be required to travel with the family sometimes, at the week end and in summer (on average from approximately 3 weeks in summer)

Holidays: six days off for month; 4 weeks a year paid holidays

Salary is euro 1.200 per month, depending on the candidate
